Props

Below are some of the props used during the surgeons scenes. in the photo below the props used are 3 syringes filled with liquid, a hack saw, 2 metal trays filled with a scalpel, scissors, tweezers and a hammer, a bottle filled with a blood sample, a white bed sheet and bloody dressing pads. All of these props were used to try and give the room more of a clinical feel.

Below are more props that were placed next to the 'operating table' to try and create a clinical look. in this photo there are syringes, needle heads, a sharps box, 2 medicine counters, 4 bloody sticks, a alcohol pad box, teeth mold, bloody dressing pads, a syringe filled with blood, a 'Biological Substance' sample bag and a 'Biohazard' bag.

Below is one of the posters used in the scenes this was placed above the table containing the sharp box and other props. This poster is of the human anatomy as you see many posters like this in clinical environments.

Below are all the other posters that were used in the scenes in order to create a clinical look. The posters were of: first aid, fire safety, contamination, chemical spills, and needle stick injurys.

This is the outfit that the surgeon was wearing, it is already covered in blood stains which imply's to the audience that she has already been experimenting on other humans/animals. This outfit helps to create the clinical environment as it is what real life surgeons would wear.

This is the make up that was used on the actors. This consists of: fake blood used on the wounds, liquid latex which was used along side tissue paper to create the wounds, foundation so that the zombies didn't look too pale and looked more realistic, white face paint to make the zombies look a little bit pale but not too much, skin coloured face paint to help blend the colours and black face paint to make the eyes and cheek bones appear sunken in.
