Flat plans

Below is my flat plan for my film poster. I am going to use a simple poster as i think this will have a greater impact, and will intreage the viewer, which will make them want to see the film. The image will be of the surgeon holding a needle, with a zombie about to bite them from behind. The poster is designed to make the viewer guess what the plot is as the plot may not be clear to some people. The title of the film 'Zombitz' tells the viewer that this is a zombie film, which should help them understand what is going on in the image. These is a quote from 'The Zone' which is the name of my film magazine, i will use a quote as this is traditionally seen on film posters. 'In Cinemas Now' will be in red to fit in with the film title, it will also be in a simple font that is easy to read.

Below is my flat plan for the film magazine. The magazine is called 'The Zone' as this fits in with the film magazine that is quoted on the poster. The main image will be of the surgeon featured in the poster but who is now turned into a zombie as they get bitten in the film. I will use blue for the masthed and text as this stands out and will be eye catching. I am going to feature various films as this magazine is a mix of genra's. I will have the sell line in the shape of a 'Z' as this will reinforce the zombie idea, i am also going to play on the word 'fantastic' and make it 'Zomtastic'.
